Responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Supervises team responsible for quality system, engineering document control, customer returned material, incoming inspection, supplier and customer communication and resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Actively learns assembly and test processes to develop in depth knowledge of operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Evaluates bills of material, engineering drawings and other documentation, work instructions, and engineering specifications for accuracy and completeness. Submits engineering changes when applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Evaluates and cultivates team members and their skillsets to meet changing needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Establishes effective business relationships with key external and internal customers and suppliers to generate successful and lasting partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Audits supplier quality systems and production processes as required<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Using professional concepts and company objectives, works on and resolves complex issues in which analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Drives continuous improvement projects for existing products<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Provides leadership for quality team and acts as liaison between engineering \/ software systems and manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Works closely with engineering on new product introductions: designing for manufacturability, , production validation, and working with suppliers for production setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 WORKS DIRECTLY WITH THE DESIGNING SECTION & SUPPLY CHAIN FOR THE SUPPLIERS<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Ensures full compliance with quality procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Manages budget and human resource needs of the quality department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Evaluate the non conformance status and determine the root causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Establish corrective actions for non conformance status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Provide the latest versions of international standards for the products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Responsible for internal and external calibration operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Minimum 7 years of experience in quality control field of electrical equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Managing ISO 9001 or other Quality Management Systems requirements in a business operations environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Good experience in the field of manufacturing of electrical equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Good experience with dealing with testing machines, calibration, and tolerances in testing machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Good knowledge of IEC standards in the field of circuit breakers \u2013 contactors \u2013 Panels \u2013 Plastic Parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Ability to understand engineering design drawings and documentation and determine and implement assembly and test processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Performing root cause analysis using 8D methodology<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Initiating corrective actions, preventative actions, and continuous improvement projects<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Utilizing lean manufacturing tools, including 5 Why\u2019s, Just-in Time, Kanban, Poke Yoke, Waste Reduction, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and take time calculation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
