Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth production operations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating new technologies and methodologies into production processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Engineer in a sheet metal manufacturing or home appliance production environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, including assembly, machining, and fabrication techniques.
• Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Solid understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production-related issues.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with electrical safety standards and regulations is a plus.
